Anya

Anya was an urgent rescue from Stanislaus Shelter due to medical need and trauma pain. Was on PTS list for 1/11/26. Shelter vet thinks she was hit by car. Anya was in pain. Shelter vet took xrays that shows transverse fracture of proximal 1/3 radius fracture of her front right leg. Gave pain meds. Said she needed kennel rest to self heal. No wrap. Once Anya was transported and saw our vet, Dr. Tama, Certified Surgeon, he advised to sedate and put on a front right arm splint. It will take 6-8 weeks to heal with weekly or every 2 week vet check of her arm. To avoid surgery and heal properly, she cannot move that arm thus the splint. At her foster home, she will need to stay in a dog pen to rest and no playing. Can help her to the backyard for potty biz. Despite all she has gone thru and all the pain, she is a gentle sweetie. Huge thanks her super HERO long distant transporter and Foster Home! Anya is our first rescue for 2026. More info to come as she rests and heals at her foster home. Anya is a FFR Miracle Club doggie. http://furryfriendsrescue.org/about_us/miracle_club

Donations appreciated for her vet care.
