Avery D4415

Avery and her two buddies, Anchor and Founders (Octoberfest beer names) were rescued from an overcrowded shelter when their time was up. They used to live in a car with a homeless person, who left them at the shelter. Avery had poor diet related conditions, needs dental/extractions (grade 4) and grooming. At her vet exam, our vet did a tonopen eye test and her eyes are fine. Avery is tiny, likes to be held, quiet, dog and people friendly.  She is very sweet, attentive, loves treats, and well behaved. Avery loves to follow her person around and can jump up/down from bed or sofa.  Of course, she loves car rides.   More info. to come as she relaxes and gets healthier for her dental surgery.   Avery is adorable. Small dogs age slower, so she is middle aged in human years.  With healthy food and dental, she will improve her health and look even younger.  She looks like a ShihPoo mix.  Puppy like.

Donations are greatly needed and appreciated to help Avery with her dental needs (about $1,000).

10/7/19 Update from Foster Home: Avery is great on leash but house-training is still a work in progres.  Loves her daily walks, going out to yard, following her person around and laps.

UPDATE:  She is not ready for adoption until after her dental surgery/extractions, mouth x-ray, blood test and healed.  Probably by end of Oct.

Update:  She had her dental and 8 teeth extractions.  Resting & doing well.

**Note: Adoption in SF Bay Area Only**
