Kekoa D5653 (Rosie)

Kekoa, along with her 2 brothers Keanu and Kalua, was rescued from a neglect situation. They were 4 months old at time of rescue. Sadly, all were neglected, covered with fleas and urgently needed TLC. Kekoa (meaning "the warrior"), is very sick (she was lethargic, anemic, low protein levels, very runny soft stool). We have run all her blood (CBC, wellness, parvo) and stool tests. She perked up with sub-Q fluids the first day! Next days, she was doing much better and continue to recover with antibiotics, dewormers and iron supplments.
Update: Kekoa is now healthy and has recovered from being sick with virus in GI and heavy festation of worms in her gut. With medications, deworming and healthy holistic foods, she is now fine. Eating well and normal stool. Sweetie! Donations toward her vet care is greatly needed and appreciated. $800 spent to save her life.
Donations towards all her vet care is great needed and appreciates. We spent about $800 or more for her hospital care.
**Note: Adoption in SF Bay Area Only**
