Meet Charlotte! This adorable female Cane Corso puppy is on the lookout for her forever family. She's an inquisitive young lady who enjoys exploring the world around her and soaking in all the new sights and smells. Charlotte likes people and their attention, though she prefers to engage on her own terms. This energetic pup can get a little frustrated on leash and might show this by pulling in the opposite direction. With consistent and positive reinforcement training, she'll learn to enjoy her walks by your side. Charlotte is still learning to be completely comfortable with handling. When she feels uneasy, she might show it by lip licking, trying to create space, and sometimes using her mouth inappropriately. With patience and gentle guidance, she'll learn that handling can be a positive experience. It's important to note that Charlotte has shown some guarding behavior around her food bowl, becoming very focused and intense during mealtimes. She has also displayed some guarding tendencies with high-value items, resisting when asked to give them up and becoming a bit snatchy when they are returned. Due to her sensitivities around food and high-value items, Charlotte would thrive best in a home with teenagers and up who can understand and respect her boundaries and work with her using positive reinforcement techniques to address these behaviors.
