Owen is one of Olive's adorable 9 puppies. Olive was rescued from a shelter when she was very pregnant. She had her 9 puppies at our foster home on 1/6/23. 5 males and 4 females. Puppies are all super cuties, friendly, healthy, sweeties and playful. They are eating slurry mix now and not nursing anymore. They will be ready when they are 8 weeks old and get their vet care, about March 3rd. More personality info. to come when they are settled into their puppy foster homes for training and socials. We will review applications at the end of Feb. Olive, mom.

Update from foster home 3/25/23: Owen is very affectionate and high energy until he tires himself out playing, then nap time. He loves to dig, pick up twigs and slippers. LOL. He hates the cold and getting his feet wet, and usually takes him time when leaving the crate in the AM to poo. He likes sitting in your lap for comforting or done playing in the yard. He also showers you with kisses when you allow him. Owen is learning house-training. Owen is super sweet boy. Ready for puppy school and socials.

- 8-10 weeks: 1 hour or less. Puppies this young simply canโt hold their urine for more than 1 hour.
- 12 weeks: Bladder capacity is increasing to hold up to 90 minutes.
- 18 weeks: Develop bladder muscles to hold up to 2 hours.
- Preventing Adolescent Problems (by 5 months): Walk daily and socialize to ensure that your pup grows up to be well-rounded and well-schooled puppy remains a mannerly, well-socialized, and friendly dog throughout adulthood.
