Keanu D4645

Keanu was nervous and timid in his shelter cage next to barking loud dogs. Once we took him out he relaxed. He was timid at first but warmed up with another dog. Then he wanted to play. He is dainty, gentle and very sweet. Loves treats and warms up to new people to be petted. He was camera shy and learning he is safe. Everything is new to him. Keanu needs time to learn basic home training. On his first day, he enjoys watching TV with his foster mom.  Need home with yard for potty biz or he will have accidents inside.  Too nervous to potty on walks.  Another small dog playmate would be prefered since he seems happier when he is around another dog.  Kids 12 yrs and up since he is nervous of loud and fast movements.  More info. to come as he relaxes and learns at his foster home. Keanu is a super cutie.  He will not be ready for 2-3 weeks.

Update 8/16/21: Keanu gets stressed out when in a car (he drools non-stop) so foster home is trying to work with him on shorter trips, etc. He still has some accidents inside if not rushed out to backyard. He has to have a backyard. Shy of meeting new people on walks but more comfortable when with another dog. He does much better when walking with another dog. Alone, he is shy and distracted. Foster home feels he really needs to live with another friendly dog to help him feel confident and happier. Needs continued training. He tries to chew on items left on the floor (shoes, socks), on the ground on walks or in his reach. Very puppy-like behaviors.

**Note: Adoption in SF Bay Area Only**
