Ninja D7001
This Animal is PENDING ADOPTION.
Handsome Ninja was rescued from a shelter. He is a big sweetie and friendly with all. Needs basic training. He is doing great at his foster home and is very happy.
Update from foster home: He's a gentle and sweet dog. He is curious about the cat but doesn't fixate. They have been cautiously observing each other. He'll trot after her if she runs by but mostly due to her being moving object, as opposed to prey drive. Responds very well to correction and has excellent recall, in any situation. All I have to say is "No" or call his name and he'll come right back. We are working on him giving personal space (wants to be a lap dog), but in regards to the cat, I've been correcting him with a squirt bottle when he has tried to get close to sniff her. He has learned to tread lightly and keep his distance, particularly in my room where her setup is. We can all be in there together just fine, he's only interested in being with his person.
He needs a home with someone around. Once he bonds to the guardian at home, he wants to follow and has anxiety. He needs time to learn coming and going. He is fine with their other dog but doesn't play.
