Eira D6605

Eira D6605

Eira (means snow in Welsh) was an urgent rescue from a city shelter. She was a little timid but very sweet. She did great during her transport and was quiet in crate. Eira did fine at our vet with her exam, vaccinations, ID chip and bath (was dirty with fleas). She met the vet office cat and was curious, gentle, and sniffed. Once she was out with her foster home, she was happy, cuddly and very friendly. Eira is beautiful.  More info. to come as she learns and relaxes at her foster home. New photos to come.

Update from Foster Home: Eira is a special girl! She doesn't know any commands yet. I've been working with her on the basics this weekend, but we're really starting from scratch. She is not potty trained yet either, but she does fine as long as we take her out very frequently. Similarly, she's still learning how to walk on a leash. She hasn't been pulling so far, but I think she's still building confidence out and about. She loves our dogs, plays very well, and does well with our cats. She's submissive to both of our dogs and rolls over pretty readily, even though one is smaller than her. She's very food-motivated and overall pretty quiet for a pup. She doesn't bark when someone comes to the door, even when the other dogs do. She's very affectionate and always has a smile.
