Dixie (Pretzel)

This Animal is PENDING ADOPTION.

Dixie (Pretzel)

Dixie was rescued from a shelter where she was nervous and very shy. She is under-socialized but slowly warms up and then is very sweet. Dixie is good with other dogs, and another dog helps her to feel safe. She will need time to learn, socialize, and gain confidence in her foster home. She will need basic home training, puppy socials, and classes.

Update from her Foster Home: Adorable Dixie is doing great at her hero foster home! Dixie is absolutely perfect! She settled down very quickly and explores on her own (many shy dogs take a few days to adjust). She seems completely potty trained and hasn’t had a single potty accident. She has a good appetite, is very loving, happy and playful. Great with their small dog and playful. Dixie is very friendly with people and small dogs. Foster home has a cat used to dogs. Dixie will chase the cat if she runs, but ignores when she walks by. She needs a home with yard, knows to go doggie door, loves to zoom around yard, and needs someone around more. She is now a happy, lovable and mischievous puppy! Adorable!
