Frodo D4323
This Animal is PENDING ADOPTION.

Frodo was rescued from a shelter. He was nervous and timid at the shelter, but once out, he warmed up, he is gentle friendly. Frodo was unhealthy, thin and sick. He had blood in his urine and severe dental needs. We took him to our vet for all his lab tests, x-rays and surgeries. Turned out he could have died from a large bladder stone blockage and infected swollen prostate. Poor Frodo suffered for years in pain with no vet care. He needed antibiotic for his infection and surgeries to remove a marble-sized bladder stone (analysis revealed Struvite Stones), exploratory surgery for one testicle in his abdominal (large incision), dental, extractions of many rotten teeth, and treatment for his swollen prostate (infection). Frodo's surgeries were successful. After months of TLC and vet follow up, he is now healed from all his surgeries and very loved. He is eating holistic/fresh foods (home cooked/fresh) with more moisture. Frodo enjoys his daily walks, hikes, playing ball, meeting other dogs, having someone home, and lap/sofa time. He is very sweet, spunky and playful. Frodo needs a home with someone around every few hours with a backyard so he can urinate as needed. Bladder stone issues usually are caused from poor diet and dogs that have to hold it too long and can't relieve themselves for long hours. Frodo is a tiny small dog so he is early middle age. He is social and loves long walks/hikes.
We appreciate and greatly need donations to pay for all his vet care, which cost us $3,200.00 Miracle Club doggie.

I recommend feeding a low-carb, grain-free, starch-free, potato-free, preferably fresh food diet. My second choice is canned food or a dehydrated or freeze-dried diet that has been reconstituted with lots of water.
