Joannie D4329

Joannie D4329

Joannie was very nervous and scared at the shelter.  Under-socialized.  Within a few days, she warmed up and good with other dogs. She is thin and needs healthy food to gain some weight. She was fearful of the vet. Joannie is timid and needs time to adjust to feel safe. Needs quiet home. More info. to come as she relaxes and gets TLC at her foster home.

1/9/19 update from her foster home:  New photos of cutie Joannie. Took a few days, but Joannie now feels safe and loves attention from her foster mom. Joannie is now eating fine (loves her home cooked chicken mix), follows her foster mom around, enjoys lap time, giving kisses, belly rubs, cuddling, and playful like normal dog. She did well on her walk today, though loud noises would scare her and she would pancake to the ground. With encouragement, she will walk again and follow their dog. So far she leaves their cat alone. She now loves to zoom around and bounces into play bow gestures. Joannie is still shy of the rest of her family. Need more time and continued training.

01/10/19 Update: She is doing much better today. Follows foster mom and loves being on her lap. Still shy with the rest of the family. Good with their dog. Eating now and loves zooming around. House-training in progress. Loves her crate.
