Tony D5067

Tony D5067

Tony was originally adopted from us Dec. 2014 at 8 mos. old. Sadly, now due to long work hours, son going away to college and upcoming long vacation, Tony's owners need to return Tony back to us. He was very dog friendly and playful, but due to work hours, he has not been out to socials.  We will need to meet him soon to find him a foster home to match his personality needs.  Awaiting more details.  Need a dedicated and experience foster home to feed raw or fresh foods to help his itch and clear ear infection.

Original listing: Tony & his brother, Terry, were rescued on 6/13/14 from a crowded Alameda county shelter. Both boys are super friendly, sweet and active. They are ready for puppy training and socialization. Tony is smart, cautious, independent and dominant. He needs one on one training. Update from Foster Home - that now calls him Jack: Jack is currently in a foster home with our three similar sized dogs and gets along with them famously. He is very inquisitive and energetic and loves to go on daily runs with a neighbor basenji friend in his backyard. He is very loving and has enjoyed playing with older kids. In the evenings he is content to splay himself on a warm lap for some cuddling and then retire to his kennel when it’s time to sleep. He has begun puppy obedience training and responds well to treats. Jack is an exceptional dog and will be a wonderful companion for life. Just look at those ears!

9/7/19 UPDATE:  Tony was returned to us.  Had vet exam and is healthy.  Doing great at his foster home who was one of his foster homes when he was a puppy.  Tony remembers them.  He's playing with their dog and is very happy!
