Cora D5010

Our sweet Cora still needs a foster home! She is goofy, loves going hiking, smart, affectionate, polite, friendly and lovable ( = awesome dog)! She ignored the vet office cat. She will be a good fit with active person for long walks & exercise. Cora is good around other dogs on leash (polite) but when she gets excited and off leash, she may try to play hump. So a home with no other dogs or a social and tolerant male dog is best (with supervision).

See the new photos of pretty Cora! Thanks for her great photos from Reanna.

Cora’s Story

Cora was adopted from us June 2012 but for some odd reason, she was found as a stray and taken to a shelter Aug 2014. Her kind guardian (who fostered her & paid for her extra medical needs) is now not available to take her back, so Cora has returned to us.

Cora now need a foster home or new forever home. Cora is a sweet girl, very active and playful. Very attentive, smart and cuddly. Good with other dogs and even cats. Will need an experienced dog person to be her lead and coach. Very sweet to everyone. Kids 12 yrs+.

Hi, I need a temporary foster home while I wait to be adopted. Will you please foster me?

Cutie Teddy smiles for his foster mom! He’s waiting for his forever and compassionate home. He is shy with strangers and needs time to warm up to bond to person. But then, he is very easy going, friendly and sweet! Your best friend and little buddy :-) I mean, look at this face!!

Teddy’s Story

Teddy (D3086) was rescued on 3/6/14 from a crowded Alameda county shelter on the day of PTS. He was nervous at the shelter and very distracted (scared). Once out of that environment, he warms up and is gentle and friendly. He needs time in a foster home to relax and feel safe. When he is nervous or scared, he will react with warning growl and may nip if pushed (at vet dealing with stitches).

Teddy is good with other dogs that help him feel better. He loves other dogs and is happier when he is with another dog, but at his temp. foster home, now that he is comfortable, he will guard his toy and food to other dog. At his new foster home as the only dog. It took him time to relax and feel safe. After a few days, he loves following his person and belly rubs (& asks for more). He is will guard his chew toy & ball to person. So they are working with him on trade and no need to guard his toy & dog bed. He is very lovable, catches treats and loves his walks. Adult experience home only.
