Adoption Assistance for Stray Animals
(especially kittens)

Before we can help, you MUST file a "Found Report" with your local shelter and abide by their ordinance. Furry Friends Rescue must abide by County and California State Law.

UPON FFR ACCEPTANCE:

  • Foster stray animal in your home until he or she is adopted. If for some reason the animal needs to come back, you must be willing to foster him/her again.
  • Please show proof of vet test and receipts.
  • Transport animal to our "Adoption Showcase".
  • To see adoption showcase locations, click here
  • Transport animal to vet for exam, shots and spay/neuter.

Furry Friends Rescue will:

  • Guide or refer you to vets and no cost spay/neuter clinics. All animals must be
vet examed, tested, vaccinated and spay/neuter prior to adoption.
  • You must transport the animal to his/her vet appointment.
  • Animal MUST BE current on his/her vaccinations, proof of combo test (cats)
and be spay/neutered before being shown at our "Adoption Showcase".
  • You must screen all applications before placing the animal in a new home.
We will only assist with animals which are social (people friendly), should be animal friendly and can be handled / petted. If you would like our assistance in this program, please call us at (510) 794-4703 or email us at: info@furryfriendsrescue.org about our "Stray Assistance Program".
