Adorable Thanksgiving litter. We rescued these 4 under-age pups out of litter of 13 puppies (only 5 weeks old) from a super over crowded distant shelter on 11/9/24. Someone dumped them all without their mom on 11/4/24 and they were running out of options with no cage space and the shelter cannot care for young pups. All the pups were scared and huddled together at the shelter. Once in their foster home, they relaxed and are doing great. They love attention and cuddling. All love their slurry mix food, warm bed and playtime at their foster home’s yard for some sunshine. Now they will get to enjoy Thanksgiving in a warm and loving home while they learn. Two are thin but with healthy foods they will soon add some puppy weight. More info. to come. Video on Facebook of the 13 puppies at the shelter. More need rescue and foster homes.

1/22/25 Update: Puppies have lots of energy and are very gentle, social and loving. Eager to learn. Pumpkin is more independent than Tater. Loves other dogs, loves to cuddle. They love each other and our dog Tony and cat Mindy. They like to go for walks. They sit down if you ask them.

3/5/25 Update:  She loves their daily long walks, going hiking, going to the beach, socials at dog parks or friends, snuggling on sofa and playful.  Pumpkin is doing great at her foster home and their small dog. She might be a Carolina Dog and GSD mix.
