Socks 12-4129

Socks 12-4129

Socks got his Christmas Miracle today! Poor Socks was dumped at a high kill shelter where he was about to be PTS (put to sleep). He was scared at the shelter. Huge thanks to his Hero Foster Home and Angel, he is now relaxing at her home. Socks is now friendly and loves being petted. Socks will rest and then go to our vet for Sr. Wellness tests and check his teeth. Usually neglected (poor diet & no vet care) adult to senior cats, always need dental and teeth extractions from decay. More info. come.

12/27/18 update:  Socks got all his vet care, sr. wellness tests and lab work.  Sadly, he is positive for FIV.  However, FIV cats can show no symptoms and live long lives.  Soon, he will have his dental care and most likely, extractions.  Donations greatly needed and appreciated to help Socks with all his vet care needs.

6/19/20 update: Socks was euthanized at Beacon Vet Specialists. Dr. Lynn diagnosed him with severe kidney disease and a strong heart murmur. Apparently, respective treatments work at opposite ends. She also suspected cancer. And she said that his FIV status would also put him at higher risk for lymphoma. Since Socks was feeling so poorly, he was euthanized the same day

**Note: Adoption in SF Bay Area Only**
