Milo is an energetic 3 year old dog that loves to play and go on walks. We rescued him from a shelter and provided him with a loving home and lots of attention. We socialized him well at an early age with other people and dogs and even cats. But he started to become timid with newcomers and strangers after a while. We took him on walks and it seemed like he was a little nervous when people would come towards us. We noticed this change in his personality and tried to do some positive reinforcement training. After inserting this training in our daily routine, he has improved. Milo is very intelligent and with continued training and socialization, he would be a great fit for any home that can love him as much as we do. We are expecting a child in the fall and believe that we can't give him the full attention that he would need. He also hasn't socialized well with small children (babies, toddlers, etc.) in the past so it wouldn't be fair for him nor us to keep him in this new environment. He would be a better fit with a family that has children above the ages of 14 and older. Milo is such a sweet dog to our family members and friends. He will love you unconditionally and just wants nothing more than to give kisses and curl up in a blanket on your lap. He plays well with other dogs, even has become comfortable at the dog parks where we take him. He is playful with our cat and believe that he will be great with other dogs and cats in a family. He is leash, crate, and potty trained with knowledge of commands such as sit, stay, lay down, roll over, etc.
We are helping Milo's current guardian to find him a new home. If interested, please email kkayla55@juno.com
