Oliver was rescued on 7/28/10 from a shelter. Poor Oliver was badly neglected. He was badly matted (long shaggy coat) with grass burrs and dirt embedded to his skin, like he has never been bathed or brushed. Has a little skin infection around his eyes from allergy or poor nutrition/dirt and ear infection.
He is a warm and affectionate doggie. Happy go-lucky. He loves giving you kisses and wants to snuggle and be petted. Needs basic training. He is great with other dogs and wants to play with them. He has a heart of gold and now that he has been bathed & groomed (shaved), he feels much better. He will need time to eat well and get healthy. Soon his new coat will grow back and he'll be gorgeous.
In his foster home he is very bouncy, playful dog. He needs to learn not to jump up on tables/counters! Foster home is working on these issues. Otherwise a perfect dog. Completely house-trained from day one. He is also crate trained. He knows "sit" and does it well when you have food :-)
