Ashley was found on the streets looking for a friend. She spent a week at the Tri City Animal Shelter until FFR rescued her. It was apparent that she was injured and a vet diagnosed her with having torn ligaments in both knees. She went into a foster home and began her road to recovery. She was under the care of Veterinary Surgical Associates (VSA), Dublin and they did successful surgeries on both knees. They expected a full recovery and she's now romping around on the trail with her doggie buddies regularly.
Ashley is a very friendly and loving dog with a wonderful temperment. She loves to cuddle and is great with other dogs. She is very affectionate and sweet and a joy to be around. She is playful, likes to play with chew toys and chase an occasional ball. She is kennel trained so she very comfortable resting, sleeping and spending time in there. She loves to be with her human companions. She would do best in a home without young children.
