Alvin D2369

Alvin (Watch my video!) was rescued from TCAS on 6/26/09.  He was scared of the shelter environment.  Felt better with another dog in his cage.  He is a great companion dog and loves to play vigorously all day, then curl up for a restorative nap with his buddy. He loves going for walks, and is better on the leash if he's being walked with a doggy friend. He can be timid meeting new people, and needs to feel safe first. Once you spend time with him, he will happily come to you for treats and pets. Loving and friendly once he knows you.  He's got a ton of energy and needs daily exercise. He's potty-trained and good with calm cats. He prefers to have another dog in the household to play with.

Update:  Alvin has grown up and now friendly with everyone.  He knows he is safe and has learned a lot at his foster home.  Just needs a loving home with moderate exercise/walks.  Kids 10 yrs+.
